Dr. Lima is Full Professor at the Federal University of Goias (UFG/Brazil), affiliated since 1991 with the School of Pharmacy – area of Pharmaceutics and Applied Nanotechnology. Her laboratory is dedicated to the optimization of drug delivery by modulating nano-bio interactions through distinct nanoparticle surface properties. She has supervised more than 70 theses and dissertations, H index 35 with 150 peer reviewed publications. She received several national and international awards and honors, was elected member of the Brazilian Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences and is a member of the CRS College of Fellows. Her lab, in the UFG Technology Park, is the most comprehensive and well-equipped research center in pharmaceutics and nano drug delivery in Brazil. She is currently the President of the CRS Brazilian Local Chapter.
