Matilde Durán-Lobato is an Associate Professor in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Seville (Spain). She holds a MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a PhD on Pharmaceutical Sciences and Nanomedicine, with predoctoral research training at the Universidad de Sevilla (Spain), iMed.UL Almeida’s Lab (Lisbon, PT), Peppas Lab at the Chemical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering Departments at the University of Texas at Austin (TX, USA) and Anderson-Langer Lab at the Koch Institute at the MIT (MA, USA), and postdoctoral research experience at the Alonso’s Lab (Universidade de Santiago de Compostela,Spain). Her research focuses on designing advanced drug delivery systems for challenging molecules, with an emphasis on clinically transferable perspectives.
