Dr. Byler is a first year postdoctoral fellow at Yale School of Medicine. She completed her PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Yale University, where her dissertation received Yale's John Addison Porter Prize, awarded annually to the best dissertation in any field of study. More broadly, Dr. Byler's interests reside at the intersection of public health and biomedical engineering, specifically the creation of bioengineered models and novel drug delivery platforms for Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs). Dr. Byler also holds a MPH in Epidemiology from the Yale School of Public Health and a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
