Juan L Paris (PhD) is a Ramón y Cajal researcher (Tenure Track) at the Biomedical Research Institute of Málaga and Platform in Nanomedicine (IBIMA Plataforma BIONAND, Spain). He obtained his PhD from Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain) in 2017. During his PhD he was a visiting researcher at Boston Children's Hospital, Harvard Medical School (USA, 2016) and at the University of Oxford (UK, 2017). After his PhD, he was a Ramón Areces Postdoctoral Fellow at the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL, Portugal) from 2018 to 2020. Then, he was a Sara Borrell Postdoctoral Fellow at IBIMA Plataforma BIONAND (Spain, 2020-2022), also carrying out an 8-month research stay at Queen's University Belfast (2022). He started his Ramón y Cajal Researcher position in January 2023. His current research is focused on the development of nanoparticles for allergy diagnosis and therapy.
