Dr. Gabriella Costabile is an assistant professor in Pharmaceutical Technology at the Department of Pharmacy of the University of Naples “Federico II” (IT). She received her PhD in Pharmaceutical Science in 2016. Her research interest focuses on the design and development of innovative delivery systems, from formulation design to preclinical in vivo evaluation, which enable bioactive compounds (i.e., low molecular weight drugs, nucleic acid therapeutics, peptides, and proteins) to pass effectively through biological barriers in the body (i.e. airways, skin, BBB), with a special focus on lung delivery .
