Lorena Valverde studied pharmacy at the University of Santiago de Compostela. At the same university he completed a master's degree in drug research and development. He is currently a doctoral student under the supervision of Professor Noemi Csaba and his research is focused on mucosal administration therapies. In 2022 she won the Woman in pharmaceutical science award, at the congress held by the EUFEPS in Leiden (Netherlands).
