Rafaela Gazzi is a PhD candidate in Luciani's research group at University of Bern, focusing on the development of lipid mesophase-based oral and topical drug delivery systems. Before starting her PhD, Rafaela gained valuable industry experience as an intern at Hoffmann-La Roche in pCMC Drug Delivery and Preformulation Sciences. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil.
