The OraFuse system is an intraoral propellant-driven disposable micropump that attaches to a dental retainer and delivers drug continuously into the mouth avoiding the need for a surgical procedure, skin lesions, or a cumbersome delivery pump. In 2023, a Phase 2 trial showed that levodopa/carbidopa delivered continuously via the OraFuse System provides more stable plasma levodopa levels in patients with Parkinson's Disease. OraFuse is also being developed for the treatment of severe dry mouth due to radiotherapy for head and neck cancers. This presentation will provide the results of the Phase 2 Parkinson's Disease trial and future OraFuse development plans.
