Camilla Pegoraro, a Ph.D. candidate of the Polymer Therapeutics Lab at the Centro de Investigacion Principe Felipe (Valencia, Spain), holds a Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology degree from the University of Padua (2019). Her Master's thesis at the University of Reading (UK) focused on PEG-based drug delivery systems. Camilla's research, funded by the EU Horizon 2020 ITN BIOMOLMACS project, centers on designing, synthesizing, and characterizing polypeptide-based delivery systems for subcellular targeting. During her Ph.D., she completed short stays at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry (Munich, DE) and the University of Groningen (NED) to expand her expertise in the physical and chemical properties of her materials. Camilla is an active member of the Young Scientist Committee of the SPLC-CRS.
