Angeliki Andrianopoulou is a 4th year PhD student in Pharmaceutical Sciences at University of Illinois Chicago. She holds a Pharmacy Degree from the University of Athens and a Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Technology from the University of Paris Descartes. Her research interests lie in the areas of biomaterials and drug delivery, including polymeric and lipid nanoparticles for small molecule and nucleic acid delivery, and bioconjugated hydrogels for delivery of nanoparticle therapeutics. During her PhD, she’s focusing on developing topical delivery systems for skin infection and wound healing applications.
