Patrick Duffy, PhD

Dr Patrick Duffy is the R&D Team Leader for the ViatelTM bioresorbable polymer portfolio at Ashland supporting customers with key excipients/materials and technical solutions in the development of extended-release parenteral drug delivery formulations, medical devices, tissue engineering scaffolds and cosmetics. He obtained his B.Eng., M.Sc. and Ph.D. from University College Dublin (UCD), Ireland. He joined Ashland as part of the Vornia Ltd. acquisition in 2018 where he previously held responsibility for both R&D and production of bioresorbable polymers.
