Marco Block is a licensed pharmacist and PhD candidate at the Department of Drug Discovery Sciences at Boehringer Ingelheim in collaboration with University of Regensburg.
After his studies in Pharmacy at Julius Maximilians University in Wuerzburg, he gained experience in preclinical formulation, working as a formulation scientist at Boehringer Ingelheim. Since March 2023, he carries out research in the field of novel extended-release formulations for preclinical use and tools for preclinical application with special focus on intravitreal therapy.
