Postdoctoral Associate
Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States
Kimberley Biggs completed her PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Queensland in 2023. During this time, she implemented a high-throughput, mRNA-display technique to develop peptide therapeutics for reducing cell death in the brain during a stroke. Shortly afterwards, she was awarded a American Australian Association Graduate Scholarship and commenced a postdoctoral associate position with Associate Professor Giovanni Traverso at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She now utilises a high-throughput method to develop formulations to stabilise anaerobic live biotherapeutic products in the presence of oxygen and at pasteurising temperatures.
