Dr Greta Avancini earned an MSc in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology in December 2018 at the University of Padova. In 2023, she obtained a PhD in Biosciences at the same institution, defending a thesis on the delivery of drugs by biomimetic nanocarriers to enhance the outcome of breast cancer photodynamic therapy. Currently, she is a PostDoc at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia in the Nanotechnology for Precision Medicine (Prof. Paolo Decuzzi) research unit, working on nano and micro-particles for treating osteoarthritis and diabetes mellitus.
