Jiaqi Shi is a third-year PhD student in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Zhejiang University, under the supervision of Prof. Zhen Gu and Prof. Hongjun Li. He received his BS in Pharmacy from China Pharmaceutical University in 2021. His research interests are mainly focused on the delivery of immunotherapeutics, the construction of immune‐modulating scaffolds and the engineering of immune cells. Jiaqi is passionate about improving the potency of adoptive cell transfer, while avoiding toxic side effects. His project, which has been published in Nature Materials, has proved patient-derived lyophilized lymph nodes could fuel CAR T cells against solid tumours.
