I am currently an Associate Professor and Undergraduate Program Officer in Auburn University Department of Biological Sciences. My research focuses on innovative delivery platforms for nucleic acids. I earned an M.S. in Organic Chemistry from the University of the Basque Country, Bilbao, Spain, and gained industry experience for two years at a Biotechnology company. Later, I completed my Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics at Kansas State University in 2010, followed by postdoctoral research at Kansas State University and Auburn University. I began tenure-track position in Biological Sciences at Auburn University in 2017.
