Ayelet David is a Professor and the Head of the Laboratory of Drug Targeting and Nanomedicine at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel. Her main research interests and expertise are in polymeric drug delivery systems for small molecules, nucleic acids and proteins for treatment of cancer and inflammation. She has contributed work on polymer-drug conjugates, block copolymer micelles, polyplexes and nanoparticles, and has published her work in top-tier journals. Since 2023 Prof. David is the President of the Israeli chapter of the Controlled Release Society.
