Paulina Skupin-Mrugalska is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Poznan University of Medical Sciences (Poland). Following Master's degree (2009), she obtained Ph.D. (2014) in pharmacy from Poznan University of Medical Sciences (PUMS, Poland). She was a visiting researcher at Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry (2010, 2012), University of Southern Denmark (2018), and a post-doctoral fellow at Rutgers University (Piscataway, NJ, USA), at Tamara Minko's lab. Throughout these years, Paulina has developed a background in pharmaceutical formulation, drug delivery, nanomedicine, and theranostic systems. Currently, she is establishing an independent research group focusing on applying phospholipids in drug delivery using phospholipid-based carriers such as solid dispersions, liposomes, and lipid nanoparticles.
