Dr. Marwa Sallam, obtained her Masters and PhD in pharmaceutical sciences from Faculty of pharmacy, Alexandria University, Egypt. She had several international collaborative research projects with faculty of pharmacy university of Granada, Spain, polymer therapeutics lab at CIPF, Valencia, Spain, and Ecole pharmacie Geneve Lausanne (EPGL) Switzerland. She was a Fulbright postdoctoral scholar at Mitragotri lab for drug delivery at school of engineering & applied science and Wyss institute of biologically inspired engineering at Harvard University. Currently she is an associate professor of pharmaceutical technology. Her research is directed towards the development of targeted drug delivery platforms for inflammatory diseases and cancer with special focus on polymer conjugates, dermal drug delivery, combination cancer therapy and immunotherapy.
