Dr Yousuf Mohammed is a research leader within Frazer Institute the University of Queensland. He has been working within the field of cosmetic dermatology, sensory perceptions, skin delivery, novel technologies and devices, microneedles and nanomaterials. He is presently the Vice-Chair of the American Association of Pharmaceutical scientist's Topical Transdermal committee and an invited expert on transdermal products. His work has developed the conceptual framework to describe physicochemical and structural arrangement of matter, directly supported new paradigms for topical and transdermal drug development. In United States and Europe, more than 80 regulatory guidances now recommend these techniques.
