Inês Domingues has a master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Coimbra. Currently, she's taking her PhD at the Universite Catholique de Louvain in the Louvain Drug Research Institute in Prof. Ana Beloqui's research group. Her current work focuses on using lipid nanocapsules as a drug delivery system and a therapeutic agent in treating metabolic disorders such as metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease or MASLD. Part of her PhD work has been published in the Journal of Controlled Release and the Drug Delivery and Translational Research Journal.
