Tomáš Etrych is a Research Professor and Head of the Biomacromolecular and Bioanalogous Systems Center of the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry, the Czech Academy of Sciences (CAS), Czechia. He earned a DSc degree at the CAS. He carries out research in the fields of water-soluble and nanoparticle drug delivery systems for effective treatment of cancer. He is also involved in the development of the polymer-based theranostics and diagnostics. He published more than 200 papers in international scientific journals and is also author of a couple of patents. .
