Lutz Nuhn studied biomedical chemistry and obtained his doctoral degree from Mainz University, Germany, in 2014. After postdoctoral research with Bruno De Geest in Ghent, Belgium, he joined Tanja Weil’s group at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Germany in 2017 and became independent Emmy-Noether group leader in 2019. In 2022, he was appointed as full professor and is heading the Chair of Macromolecular Chemistry at Würzburg University in Germany. His research focuses on the synthesis and application of multi-responsive biodegradable polymeric nanocarriers, especially for immunodrug delivery.
