Peijun received her PhD in Analytical Chemistry at University of Delaware (U.S.), where she focused on instrumental design of mass spectrometry and its application in analyzing ambient nanoparticles/biomolecules. After graduation she worked as a senior scientist at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York human exposomics, and metabolomics in cancer biomarker discovery. Before joining Nature Communications, she worked at Wiley as an editor of Advanced Science. She joined Springer Nature since 2023 and is now based in Shanghai office, handling manuscripts with the topics of nanomedicine for cancer theranostics, and clinical trial for cancer treatment.
