Łukasz Koroniak, PhD, EMBA (Luke) is a Global Biomaterials Director, Drug Delivery Solutions at DSM Biomedical, where he is focused on extending application of DSM’s proprietary, biodegradable PolyEsterAmide polymers (PEAs) in the field of sustained drug delivery. For the past 14 years at DSM, Luke has been involved in both technology and business teams that focused on partner projects in number of therapeutic areas including cardiovascular, ophthalmic, pain management and metabolic disease fields. These efforts have led to commercial launches of partner products in cardiovascular, and more recently, a completed pre-clinical stage and IND of a novel product in ophthalmic space.
Luke holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from University of Florida and EMBA from Alto University. In his 20-year tenure, he has developed a broad experience in drug discovery, medicinal chemistry and drug delivery, and has authored several scientific publications and patents.
