Simona Silvestri is an engineer and a PhD student in the Professor Netti's lab at the University of Naples Federico II (Italy) and the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Naples.
She graduated in Biomedical Engineering in 2018 and obtained a MSc degree with laude in Industrial Bioengineering in 2021.
Passionate about nanomedicine and tissue engineering, she is currently working in the professor Enza Torino's reasearch group, where she is investigating the effects of hydrodynamic stimulations of lipid bilayer systems (LBs), focused on cells and Extracellular Vesicles (EVs).
She is dedicated to pursuing research and analysis of novel approaches to improve the yield of release and the loading of EVs for therapeutic purposes and precision medicine.
