Antonio José Guillot is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Technology at the University of Valencia. He holds an MSc in Research and Rational Use of Medicines and a PhD in Biomedicine and Pharmacy.
His research interests include the development of nanosized drug delivery systems for the treatment of inflammatory diseases with an immune component. During his PhD, he completed a placement at De Montfort University (Leicester, UK) under the supervision of Prof. Sara Cordeiro. After graduating, he undertook a postdoctoral period at University Medical Center Groningen (The Netherlands) under the supervision of Prof. Hélder Santos.
