Chiara Bastiancich is a tenured CNRS researcher at the Institute of NeuroPhysiopathology (INP) in Marseille. She obtained a PhD in pharmaceutical sciences from UCLouvain - University of Angers in 2018. Following her postdoc at the INP, she became Assistant Professor in pharmaceutical technology at the University of Turin in 2022. Since 2024, she is an independent researcher in the Gliomagenesis and Microenvironment group at INP, where she specializes in nano-sized drug delivery systems for the local treatment of brain tumors. Using advanced preclinical models, Chiara identifies therapeutic targets and evaluates the efficacy and safety of innovative treatments to prevent tumor recurrences.
