Federica De Lorenzi is a PhD candidate at RWTH Aachen University Hospital in Germany, under the supervision of Prof. Twan Lammers. She holds an MSc in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology from the University of Urbino, Italy. Her research lies within the fields of nanomedicine, molecular imaging, and bioengineering. Specifically, she focuses on the multiscale imaging-based assessment of nanoparticle targeting to solid and hematological malignancies, as well as the development of 3D vascularized tumors that grow to the millimeter scale inside perfusable and imaging-compatible bioreactors.
