Tübingen, Germany
Carolin Thiele-Suess joined CureVac in 2013 as Senior Research Scientist identifying suitable delivery systems for mRNA. Her interest includes different delivery systems (Lipid Nanoparticles as well as polymeric delivery systems) for a broad range of applications with the ultimate goal to target specific organs, tissues or cells or to tailor the immune response. In addition to that, she is also interested in methods to stabilize the mRNA containing formulations to enable storage and application. Carolin obtained her PhD in Organic Macromolecular Chemistry in 2010 and persued a post-doc at the Helmholtz-Institute of Pharmaceutical Research Saarbruecken (HIPS).
