Dr Abraham M. Abraham is a pharmacist and research fellow in the Donnelly lab within the School of Pharmacy, Queen's University Belfast. Dr Abraham received his Ph.D. from Philipps-Universität Marburg in Germany in 2022 working on PlantCrystals and plant extracellular vesicles for transdermal drug delivery. Dr Abraham has been in different research stays (e.g. in Extracellular Vesicles and Mass Spectrometry Laboratory in the National Research Council of Italy (2019-2020), Universidad de Antioquia in Colombia (2019) and Queen's University Belfast (2022)). He is currently working on bioinspired smart transdermal nano-therapeutics and microneedles both for transdermal drug delivery and biosensing. Dr Abraham also focuses on advanced therapies and the translational aspects of transdermal drug delivery by working on different safe and sustainable formulation principles (based on plants and natural products) as well as on the skin microbiome.
