Dr. Arto Merivaara is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Eastern Finland. He earned his PhD in Pharmacy from the University of Helsinki in 2022. His current research focuses on ocular drug delivery, nanoparticles, and mass spectrometry to improve drug targeting to the retina. Dr. Merivaara has co-authored 12 papers in peer-reviewed journals and is a co-innovator on three patent applications.
