Silvia Pescina received her PhD in Biopharmaceutics-Pharmacokinetics in 2012 and is currently Associate Professor at ADDRes Lab, Dept. of Food and Drug, University of Parma, Italy. She serves as Scientific and Technical Manager in Micro4Nano, an EU funded H2020-MSCA- RISE project; from 2023 Prof Pescina is member of the board of directors of the CRS Italy Chapter.
Her research activity is mainly focussed on development and characterization of ophthalmic formulations and set-up, validation, and implementation of animal-based ex vivo ocular models.
