Dr. Weiwei Mu obtained her Ph.D. in the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, at Shandong University in 2021 (Prof. Na Zhang Laboratory.). Currently, she is a Postdoctoral Researcher fellow at Ghent University, in the laboratory of Prof. Dr. Bruno De Geest. Her research focuses on Nanotechnology for cancer metastasis prevention, targeting delivery nanoparticles for cancer diagnosis and therapy, Engineering cytokines delivery and Antibody recruitment molecule design. She has first-authored 8 peer-reviewed papers and 2 patents authorized. Dr. Weiwei Mu has received multiple scholarships and awards including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shandong Provincial Natural Science Foundation, the International Postdoctoral Exchange Fellowship Program 2021 and the Gold Award of China Post-doctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition 2023.
