Claudia Corbo, PhD is an Associate Professor of Biochemistry and Nanomedicine at the University of Milan Bicocca, Department of Medicine and Surgery. Her research is focused on biomimetic nanomedicine and on the use of the nanoparticle protein corona for diagnosis and for improving therapeutic efficacy of nanomedicines. Prior to this, she carried out postdoctoral trainings at the Houston Methodist Hospital (Center for Biomimetic Medicine of the Houston Methodist Research Institute, Houston, TX) and at the Harvard Medical School (Center for Nanomedicine of the Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, MA). She obtained her PhD in Molecular Oncology at the European School of Molecular Medicine, joint between the University of Milan and the University of Naples Federico II. She is an author of 60+ scientific publications (H-index: 31, average IF: 9.8), and she was awarded multiple Fellowships for her research activities.
