Mr. Tukaram Ram Karanwad is a Senior Research Fellow pursuing a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics under the supervision of Dr. Subham Banerjee at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Guwahati. He holds an M.S. Pharm (Pharmaceutics) from the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Ahmedabad.
Mr. Karanwad specializes in 3D printing/additive manufacturing for pharmaceutical applications, with a focus on developing innovative solid oral dosage forms. His current doctoral research project titled “Prototyping and validations of fixed-dose anti-tuberculosis drugs combinations using 3D printed compartmental solid oral dosage forms using selective laser sintering (SLS) platform technology” exemplifies his expertise in this domain.
