Dr. Pasqualina Scala, PhD, has graduated in Biology cum Magna Laude at the University of Salerno, Italy, in February 2019. She concluded her PhD program in Translational Medicine with merit at the University of Salerno in June 2024. During her PhD, she conducted part of the program at the Immunology Centre of The Medicine University of Vienna. The current position is a post-doc research fellow at the Department of Medicine, University of Salerno, Salerno, Italy. Dr. Scala has conducted studies in tissue engineering and drug delivery in hematology for development of new potential therapies for the treatments of paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria and other hematological malignancies.
