Liam is a registered pharmacist and 3rd year PhD candidate at The University of Queensland School of Pharmacy, studying 3D printed pharmaceuticals. His research experience lies mostly with using hot melt extrusion to create drug-loaded filament, coupled with 3D printing through fused deposition modelling into a customisable tablet. He has special interests in clinical translation of this technology, with a focus on personalised dose tapering, polypills, and geometry designs to modify release kinetics.
