Dr. Yu specializes in the design of innovative drug carriers and investigates the micro-mechanisms behind overcoming crucial physiological barriers. With abundant experience in the design and evaluation of engineered exosomes and nucleic acid drug carriers, his pioneering research has been published as the first/corresponding author in prestigious journals such as PNAS, Nature Communications, ACS Nano, Small, and Nano Letters. Dr. Yu has led various projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation and the Chinese Academy of Sciences-Novo Nordisk joint program. Additionally, he contributes as a youth editorial board member for journals like Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B, Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Exploration, Chinese Chemical Letters and Scientific Reports.
