Sarah Jurchuk is a biomedical engineering Master’s student at McGill University designing advanced drug delivery systems for solid tumors. Her current work focuses on genetic engineering approaches for controlled synthesis and release of therapeutic proteins from E. coli and vesicles for cancer treatment, specifically melanoma. Additionally, her work explores using bacteria and vesicles as effective vectors for protein delivery to the tumor microenvironment.
