Robert D. Kirian is a bioengineering graduate student in the Fischell Department of Bioengineering at the University of Maryland, College Park. As part of the Zierden Lab, his research is focused on using extracellular vesicles as a delivery platform to improve women's health outcomes. To this end, his current projects aim to improve the manufacturability of extracellular vesicles for use in next generation therapeutic development.
