Patrick Couvreur, PhD, PharmD (he/him/his)

Patrick COUVREUR is an Emeritus Professor of Pharmacy at Paris-Saclay University, member of the national french Académie des Sciences and holder of the chair of “Innovations Technologiques” (2010) at the prestigious « Collège de France ». COUVREUR’s contributions in the field of nanomedicine are highly recognized around the world with over 600 publications. He co-founded three start-up companies (incl. Bioalliance, entering the stock market in 2005) and developed an anticancer nanomedicine reaching end of phase III clinical trial. His contribution to the pharmaceutical sciences has been recognized by many scientific awards. By a decree of the President of the French Republic, Patrick Couvreur is appointed as “Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur” and “Officier de l’Ordre du Mérite”.
