Zuzanna Samol is a MSCA-ITN fellow and industrial PhD student at Polypure AS (Norway) and University of Stavanger (Norway). Before embarking on her PhD, she completed a BSc in Chemical Engineering in a co-joint programme at three Polish technical universities (Cracow, Gdansk, Lodz). In 2021, she defended her MSc in Materials Science, specializing in biomaterials at AGH UST in Cracow. At Polypure, her focus is on the synthesis of defined poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) and poly(propylene glycol) (PPG) derivatives with a special emphasis on high purity. Her PhD work also includes developing multicomponent PEG-based hydrogels for drug delivery.
