Chris is an entrepreneur with a passion for the development of new materials technology to tackle global issues.
Chris received his PhD in Materials Science from EPFL in Lausanne Switzerland. He has over 25 years of experience in developing and commercialising new materials and technologies for a wide range of commercial applications. In 2007 he created Ceramisphere, based on a silica micro-encapsulation technology, raising a cumulative $15 millions of private capital. He also instigated and managed a range of joint development programs with large multinational companies totaling several millions $ of contract research. In 2017 Ceramisphere launched a new range of innovative micro-encapsulated anti-corrosion products which involved setting up a network of distributors around the world as well as building a manufacturing unit with a capacity of 50 metric ton per year.
In June 2022, he created Encapsolutions to commercialize a ground-breaking patch technology, which produces highly efficient patches that can deliver effective analgesia with zero waste.
