Nathan is Director of Research and Development at ProMed Pharma, where he collaborates with pharmaceutical companies to develop robust, GMP-compliant processes for manufacturing complex dosage forms and drug-eluting components. Prior to joining ProMed Pharma, Nathan spent two years at Boston Scientific and 13 years at Surmodics managing and working on teams developing drug-device combination medical devices for the treatment of vascular diseases and cancer. His areas of expertise include degradable polymers, materials development, coating technologies, and combination product development. Nathan holds a B.S. and Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern University and the University of Minnesota, respectively.
