Clive Wilson is a Research Professor at Strathclyde University and was the J. P. Todd Chair in Pharmaceutics until his formal retirement. He remains an active scientist, heavily involved in global pharmaceutics projects in the USA and Europe across industry and academic groups. He is a past-president of the European Union Federation for Pharmaceutical Sciences (EUFEPS). He currently serves as Chief Scientific Officer of Re-Vana Therapeutics, an ophthalmology drug delivery company registered in the UK and USA specializing in photo cross-linked implants containing biologics. He would have dared to describe himself as ‘retired’ but his wife doesn’t agree!
